Celebrate the 100-year anniversary of WWI by spending an evening going back in time through the authentic sights and sounds from original footage unearthed by Peter Jackson (The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings. He spent the last two years watching and listening to hundreds of hours of film from The Imperial War Museum as well as searching through the eye-witness stories told by the British war veterans, years later. The music is as deeply moving as every minute of the documentary.

particular war called WW1. The misery was of a scale that none of us have seen, yet there was that moment when a soldier talked about the kindness they all
experienced from one another. Then there were the words from the veteran who told of how he and everyone lost their humanity when dealing with the Germans. And then there were the words from the veteran who differentiated Bavarian Germans from Prussian Germans.”
