“They Shall Not Grow Old” by Peter Jackson will show again at 4 and 7 pm December 27th at Regal Theaters, Interquest and I-25.

“Peter Jackson’s work of love was moving beyond words in so many ways. His story-telling had nothing to do with politics (then or now), nothing to do with “big picture”, nothing to do
with anything other than the men and boys who lived and died in a

particular war called WW1. The misery was of a scale that none of us have seen, yet there was that moment when a soldier talked about the kindness they all

experienced from one another. Then there were the words from the veteran who told of how he and everyone lost their humanity when dealing with the Germans. And then there were the words from the veteran who differentiated Bavarian Germans from Prussian Germans.”
